Thanks for joining us at the Driffield show last week! We had a great time at the show and it was lovely to see some of our longstanding farming clients and meet new faces.
We were so pleased to be able to continue our fundraising activities for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity close to our hearts here. We played several games including Hook-a-duck where prizes ranged from sweets to winning fun and fitness sessions in the Hydrotherapy pool with our Rehabilitation team, as well as guessing the amount of dog biscuits in a jar. A huge thanks to all those who took part and well done to all the lucky winners! We raised £111, and our total overall is now just over £1000!
We enjoyed talking to visitors at our stand about careers in Veterinary. We had people from all over our practice, including vets to the rehabilitation team, talking to our visitors on different career paths from becoming a Veterinary Surgeon, Veterinary Physiotherapist and Veterinary Nurse. It gave us the opportunity to share our passion for our jobs here and help advise anyone who might be interested in the profession.
We had some fun too and brought out our famous farming cut out which goes down a treat with our staff and visitors to the stand, and of course, treated visitors to our famous Aldgate beer which is always gets a great response.
Thanks to all those that visited us over the course of the day. It’s great to see you all and we’re already looking forward to next year.
