The vast majority of our orthopaedic surgery work is performed at our Driffield practice by our orthopaedic consultant Patrick Currivan from VetXs. Patrick is not directly employed by us but we have used him on an almost weekly basis for the past six years. He has a huge wealth of experience in orthopaedic surgery and regularly attends Driffield to perform surgery on ruptured cruciate ligaments, fractured limbs and jaws, slipping kneecaps and angular limb deformities.
The advantage of Patrick travelling to us is that we are able to have the skill set of a very experienced surgeon for our patients without the need for our clients to have to travel long distances to referral hospitals.
The surgical aftercare of your pet is then provided by your regular Aldgate vets and nurses.
