I grew up locally in Nafferton, and attended Nafferton and then Driffield School. I spent a year working as an animal care assistant in the practice before heading off to the Royal Veterinary College in London. After 5 years in the south, I headed back up north. After graduating I spent my first 5 years in a mixed practice north of York before moving back to my roots in 2011. I enjoy being able to undertake all aspects of work at Aldgate and am just as happy calving cows as I am examining cats. I enjoy the challenge of progressing the practice and am always looking for ways we can improve the business and what we offer our clients. When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my family; having two young children, two cats and two ponies.

With over 35 years of experience in customer service, spanning both the financial industry and, more recently, the NHS. I bring a strong commitment to providing excellent care and support to clients.

Having always been passionate about animals, working at Aldgate Vets truly feels like the perfect fit.

Outside of work, I live with my two sons and our lively household of pets: three dogs Colin, Nigel, and Steve and two cats, Madge and Rita. I love spending time with friends and family, and when I’m not socialising, you’ll often find me crafting or creating artwork of all kinds.
